Spell Speed!

Thinking of ditching the 49 Crit on my Last Resort for 49 Spell speed. Not going to lie, I've been messing around with it via food, a few acc and Selene. . .the result made me jump on my desk and start helicoptering it. . . .

What do ya'll think?

LOL I liked that! But seriously, what would be better, constant quick heals or RNG crits?

On a SCH? Crit hands down. Galvanize becomes very strong after a crit.

WHMs have half a case for stacking SS this patch (Primarily being that the gear shovels it down your throat regardless) and they actually get a little double dip on it with PoM.

As SCH? You need far too much of it to achieve anything remotely noticeable. Outside of fcob it doesn't really matter quite frankly, but once you start min maxing for T13 those Adlo crits really are a welcome sight!

I tried to write a real response, but I can't. Too much has already been said on this topic. Too many beatings has this dead chocobo endured.

Spell speed allows users to "react" slightly faster to sudden spikes in damage such as misjudged timing of Regen, spamming your Cure II key and hope the heal lands on the tank before he dies etc (I know the everything is scripted, no reaction is needed bla bla bla, but I do not live in an ideal world where everything goes 100% according to plan ).

For Scholar however, you can react to these situations even faster via your Lustrates, and coupled with your Aldo's interaction with critical, you should choose Crit over SS anytime of the day.

As for your Last Resort's remaining 31 Stat points which I do not know what you put in....that may be a different story :P.
