2.4+ and melee dps animus quest

SE, seeing as you totally screwed melee dps low level queue times completely since the ninja addition, are there any plans to alleviate this in the future? Who came up with the brilliant idea of just releasing a melee dps on it's own? Surely you knew it would severely increase their queue time..

It's just that with animus, unless you have a group to run with, we are forced to suffer these 30min+ queue times if we want to continue the quest. And a lot of players just don't have the time to sit around and wait for a queue for that period of time. If you are going to be releasing another dps class in heavensward, PLEASE balance out the dps so you don't totally screw up queues again.

Its not that bad, in fact its not bad at all. I just que for 1 of the 3 dungeons and work on the 10 mob part till que pops. I always finish the 3 dungeons before i run out of the 100 mob part.

That's fine, but for more casual people, it really is a roadblock.

Pay a tank 50k to run the dungeon with you. 5 second queue. Done.

Coincidentally, I also had really fast dungeon queues when leveling ninja.

I would've thought the FATEs that can take 2-3hours to spawn would have been the roadblock really.

SE didn't intentionally design the dungeon queues to be the way they are. They're the way they are because people like to play the melee DPS classes.
Dungeon queues really aren't going to change until DRK is added, and even then I wouldn't expect much of a change since it's STILL going to be a tank class, and tank classes are notoriously unpopular.
There's really nothing SE can do as a company to compensate for people not wanting to tank or heal. It's simply player role choice. Players will always go the path of least resistance, no matter how many sparkly shiny things you put on tanking.

Even if they didn't release Ninja, you'd still have awful waiting times at low level dungeons. Especially since the low level Duty Finder roulette, even taking the "Adventurer in need" bonus, is awarding crap amount of Soldiery & Poetics (60 & 5)...
ESPECIALLY when you consider you lose half your skills and have your mighty 110+ gear sync'd down to 1-50... You can't speedrun those.

if only we could get the kill in the dungeon no matter the job we're playing with, i would go as tank or heal to get my DPS books finished.
Queue can be between half an hour and more than an hour and half. Duty could pop instantly if we were able to use another class than the one required by wearing the weapon.
