you can have a level of over 9000, but if you can't dodge twisters or divebomb, you will still wipe.

No amount of Echo is going to change the fact that two ball- er, meteors touching will instantly kill you, getting touched by Heavensfall will instantly kill you, being too far from Heavensfall will kill you, being hit by bad stuff during Heavensfall will instantly kill you, standing in a supernova will probably eventually kill you, and putting lightning/fire inappropriately on a party will kill everyone, and divebombs....well, those are divebombs.
T9 probably won't see mechanical nerfs for a while, given its sacred status as a 'final encounter' in Second Coil.
video games are bad

In the First Coil, SE was constantly monitoring how many people were clearing it as they added Echo and they continued to increase the potency of the buff relative to how many new people were clearing the content because of it. Since they haven't increased the buff on the Second Coil yet, it can be assumed that SE believes that enough people are clearing it right now that further buffs aren't currently necessary.
Well, yeah. Otherwise they would have increased it, but I made this thread to question that decision...In the First Coil, SE was constantly monitoring how many people were clearing it as they added Echo and they continued to increase the potency of the buff relative to how many new people were clearing the content because of it. I don't know anyone who have beat, or even come near beating T9 with a PUG. With a static it's a different thing, cause you can just try countless times with the same people, and if you're using voicecom, it makes T9 a lot easier.
I'm gonna try finding a couple of players in my LS that are good enough, and run with them for a while so the players I'm with become a little more consistent, but I don't like how all these "last turn gates" are more about playing with the same people all the time, and your level of communication, than actually being good at your job/dodging mechanics.
I could be the best player in the world (not saying I am, lol), and I would still not be able to even come close to beating it unless I have a static pretty much... Especially since even if you specifically say "T9 P3-P4 training" in PF, you still get a ton of players that can't get past P1 even...
I should mention that I never point a finger on any player I play with, if it sounds like I'm acting like an elitist or something...
I've managed to help many new groups clear T5 on the Party Finder. Most of the time I've met with completely new people and players trying out different roles, and we've managed to get there with "some" problems (wipes still happened; we were aiming for clears). However, I can say for sure that you can clear any raid as long as you keep going even if you have to cycle around the players. I wouldn't mind the extra Echo though!![]()
Yeah, I'll get there eventually, I'm just fearing Final Coil won't give me as much when I finally do clear itI've managed to help many new groups clear T5 on the Party Finder. Also, I don't mean T5 at the moment, cause you need no communication to beat that... You just have to know where to stand, be able to dodge, and that's about it. T5 Was a gate before, even though it was much better than T9 is now... T5 have been out for over a year now....

Been out for over a year an some people still don't read/watch guides they just expect a carry or do the fight like they are playing a single player game an wonder why people get pissed off because of a wipe..........Yeah, I'll get there eventually, I'm just fearing Final Coil won't give me as much when I finally do clear itWhen people are walking around in full 130 gear from CT drops...

I'm fairly certain most people can play their preferred jobs to near perfection and still wipe with a group due to no communication. The healers may not know the times tanks need extra attention (ie:Cooldown reset), DPS may not be familiar with the way other players move and run each other into death, hell, even tanks can mess up if they get too lax with aggro and have an add taken by someone who they would swear was targeting another (see: DPS). Communication is the best way to resolve all of these issues after every wipe, but on DF no one ever talks (with very, very few exceptions) which is why statics are common and almost required to clear your ""last turn gates"
