Servers come up after I leave for work and reset is before I get home :'(
Is there any chance future limited time events could reset 24 hours after the content goes live rather than use the regular daily reset?

Wait, there's stuff that was only available on the first day?
Yeah I thought that was obvious.. i'm talking in future tense. When the event goes live it will reset in 7 hours which is less time than an average work day. If you're japanese this is fine as the reset is at midnight but a lot of people in the EU with jobs will be out of luck.
This wouldn't bother me but the daily quests will drop a special currency for buying rewards.
Well, you do know the event lasts for the next week and a half (it ends on New Year's Eve, when it will be replaced by Heavensturn), so you should have plenty of time to get it done (and besides, some of the gear won't even be available til Christmas Eve, so it's not like you can even get everything today anyway).
Based on previous seasonal events it's likely the actual Christmas themed armour would be gained through the actual questline as a reward anyway, so I'm guessing the dailies will reward the other items (the furnishings and stuff).
I think a better solution is to make the events happen on the daily reset rather than before.
Like, have the maintenance as normal, then an additional 5m maintenance five minutes before the daily reset.
This is what I was trying to get at. Events should have 24 hours from the moment they go live in all regions.
It's like a steam sale going live and the first day only lasts for a couple of hours. It doesn't really make sense.
