How often do you help players perform low level dungeons? Since that seems to be your concern. With your arrogance, I am expecting a lot but won't be disappointed if you say you don't.
Yea I am sure you just spend all day helping people, and queuing for low level dungeons to help players.
This is a matter of effort vs reward. Why do something that can take the same or more time when the reward isn't worth it in comparison to other means of getting such reward. Also hate level synch.
I run the roulette every day and I realize it's not the time efficient way to do things (usually anyways...you can get those trials which can go fast) but eh, help others...of course I'm DPS sooo that may not be all that helpful for some
My suggestion though would be an increase in the Poetics. I would think a higher amount of those would be much more desirable for players looking for a good time vs investment.
Why do Roulettes have bonus tome rewards at all? Because SE understands that these things are not worth doing on their own. Even someone who sincerely wishes to run low level dungeons to help other players will eventually tire of it. That's a simple fact - none of us are perfect altruists, and all of us want to spend at least some time on activities that benefit ourselves. Tome rewards give folks who otherwise wouldn't bother a reason to help out.
People on this thread are saying that the incentive is too low. This is an important opinion to communicate to SE. If enough people share that opinion, then the incentive needs to be increased. Otherwise, there will be a reduction in the number of players signing on to assist.
You can call it greed, if you like, but when folks are paying time and effort, they expect to be properly compensated for it. It's no greedier than working a job in real life and expecting to get paid. In real life, if you feel that you're not getting paid enough, you either get a raise or you quit. If people are quitting Roulette, then it's time for a raise.
There may be, yet, another solution to this.
It seems that SE will likely have to make some changes to the leveling system once the expansion comes out. This being that because less and less people are doing the then old content, by the time the expansion comes out, that they might need to make it so leveling is faster, and give other players an incentive to help other players in the process.
One way I can see them doing this is reducing the amount of xp needed to gain a level from 1-50. If you want people in the new content, it seems logical that this is something that would greatly help in that.
Another, and on the topic of this thread, could be to get rid of the fact that the daily roulette bonus can only be earned once per day. Change it to being unlimited. Increase the amount of Solidery a player gets to 50-75 per run. This way high level players have an incentive to continue to run these dungeons and players trying to level other jobs can accomplish this faster. It's a win for both sets of people.

You should get the tome bonus even if you're doing the low level roulette on a class that isn't at 50 yet. It would give me a reason to get back to levelling those classes I keep meaning to do and fresh 50's would get a nice buffer to get some good gear straight away.
If you looking to farm yes not worth the reward. This is meant to be a bonus to lvl 50s going into Low lvl dungeons. And technically the Hard modes(Not the current 3) only give 15-35 soldiery and most are not that fast. So the reward of 20 or so isn't that bad to have on a low lvl dungeon. And it shouldn't be the same amount as the current 3 hard modes at 50 soldiery. I think having a reward at an average amount would keep most of the "OMG you must do this uber fast >8C or I quite out!" out of the low lvl dungeons not to say it wouldn't happen at some point even with an average reward. This would just give an option of more dungeons to run for soldiery and perhaps benefit players lvling too.
To be fair, most of the dungeons that give only 15 soldiery can be speed ran in less than 15 minutes now with the high ilvl people have. I like your idea of a bonus accompanying the roulette choice even after the once a day one but when even the new dungeons only take 20-25minutes and give 50 soldiery, you're not gonna find a whole lot of people willing to chance getting into a low level dungeon where people will, understandably, want full clears for only 20. Especially when Frontlines gives 40 and lasts less than 15minutes as well. She's just being realistic that 20 soldiery as a bonus is not gonna be incentive enough to drive peeps there unfortunately.
