I really dislike running low level dungeons with my SCH, but for some reason, I still enjoy it with my PLD. I run a lot of these for my FC mates, always take the time to explain the mechanics to new players or let them watch their cutscenes, and it would be nice to get a few tomes for the effort. 60 for the low roulette is clearly not enough considering the queue time for non tank/healer.

Low level dungeons should give out 100 tomes to everyone regardless. That way players leveling get their tomes capped and ready to go buy half a set of gear once they hit 50 and existing 50's have a reason to go back and spend more than 30 minutes of their time (sometimes over 45minutes - 1hour) running these low level dungeons. Maybe add an additional 50 tome bonus for Roulette. Everyone wins.

Honestly, SE seems to love giving things away with no sense of accomplishment, they might as well just give lowbies tomes. They won't know what they're for and until they do get to the point where they do, they can be happy they can go into the higher level dungeons with gear that suits the dungeon and fellow players running said dungeon.

SE could change the way roulette works.

It works right now like this: Just making up numbers for the sake of argument.

X Roulette: 25 Soldiery, 50 Poetics, Adventurer in need bonus (Tank) 500 gil.
That means every job gets the bonus tomes and the tank gets the tomes and the money.

What I propose is that only the adventurer in need gets everything. In this case, only tanks get the bonus tomes and money, no other jobs. There are already enough DPS and healers queueing for non-roulette anyway, that's why tanks are needed in this case. DPS and Healers are already queuing for dungeons on their own. That would make more tanks queue.

But the pessimist in me knows someone will try their hardest to screw over everyone else.

What if every Duty had a diminishing returns to the tomes it awarded to the player? This would allow for higher initial rewards while returning players would receive diminishing rewards for repeat attempts. This would then reset daily or weekly, however they want to implement it, and force the player to attempt all possibly avenues when trying to collect tomes as rewards.

This doesn't sounds like a good idea at first, but what if you make the lower level dungeons worth more at the initial go through and deplete faster than high level dungeons/trials/raids.

No one likes caps, and this does cater to it a bit, but it would also turn focus to the players on which runs would be more valuable each time the system resets.

I wouldn't mind learning to become a Tank or Healer to help out people. I think it might be fun to learn other jobs. But, I'm not particularly good at tanking or healing. And don't really feel the need to get crapped. >.> But, I will Dps for you. ;3

Would be nice if they add more tomes for daily low lv roulette. As it stands ST offers nearly the same amount and is a lot more worth the time to do it due to having oil, sand, gear, etc

I would be incentivized if it's 120 sol. But the one thing I really would love is all abilities. I don't care if they do 10% of the normal damage.

It's such a game killer when you run that dungeon with 3 abilities. It's not fun at all. It shows since 98% of the players don't just do low level "to kill time". Maybe 3 of m out there.

Even 80 soldiery would tempt me to do it.

For those that think vets will ruin the low levels by "speed running" or whatever, there's very little you could pull before being destroyed at low level, because you don't have all your skills and your armour gets synced.
