Hell, treasure hunts should give way more tomes.
Hell, treasure hunts should give way more tomes.
What if every Duty had a diminishing returns to the tomes it awarded to the player? This would allow for higher initial rewards while returning players would receive diminishing rewards for repeat attempts. This would then reset daily or weekly, however they want to implement it, and force the player to attempt all possibly avenues when trying to collect tomes as rewards.
This doesn't sounds like a good idea at first, but what if you make the lower level dungeons worth more at the initial go through and deplete faster than high level dungeons/trials/raids.
No one likes caps, and this does cater to it a bit, but it would also turn focus to the players on which runs would be more valuable each time the system resets.

I wouldn't mind learning to become a Tank or Healer to help out people. I think it might be fun to learn other jobs. But, I'm not particularly good at tanking or healing. And don't really feel the need to get crapped. >.> But, I will Dps for you. ;3
Would be nice if they add more tomes for daily low lv roulette. As it stands ST offers nearly the same amount and is a lot more worth the time to do it due to having oil, sand, gear, etc
I would be incentivized if it's 120 sol. But the one thing I really would love is all abilities. I don't care if they do 10% of the normal damage.
It's such a game killer when you run that dungeon with 3 abilities. It's not fun at all. It shows since 98% of the players don't just do low level "to kill time". Maybe 3 of m out there.
i only mentioned cutting it for speed runners to try to decrease the number of speed runners that ruin content for newbs, i enjoy my speed running of "some" content, but doesnt mean its right to force others. premades are what that is for
Even 80 soldiery would tempt me to do it.
For those that think vets will ruin the low levels by "speed running" or whatever, there's very little you could pull before being destroyed at low level, because you don't have all your skills and your armour gets synced.
I think I made a suggestion similar to this in the QoL thread. Give a consistent bonus to the adventurer in need. Watch tanks flood the low level roulette. That way, they can make a decent relic line quest instead of forcing people into low level content. Whoever thought that using the relic line to get people to do low level content...isn't the smartest (please GMs, if you can pass that on to the person with the brilliant idea, I would be thankful).
Using low level, or previous content, for relic stuff forces people into private parties, away from the people who need them.
The fact you took it that way proves that you're a lost cause. And here is the spin on what you just said. Clearly a reply to defend yourself. And use what you do to put yourself above others. Just because you don't boast about server first clears on content, doesn't mean your bragging would make you any less of an elitist. My question was simple and required a short answer but you went into some detail there about all the effort you put in.
1: Don't assume you're the only one. Just because the rewards aren't very enticing for a low level roulette, doesn't mean that some players, when done with their progression, will flat out refuse to assist others in need.
2: Can see this how you will, re-equipping players is nice. Again, don't assume you're the only one. Although a good alternative would be, as the saying goes:
'give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime'
Could teach them to equip themselves instead. See lots of people at level 50 using gear with the wrong stats.
3: Will go back to what I said, may not be elitist in the sense of boasting about server or world first clears on particular bits of content. You are however using your "good deeds" to put yourself above others or assume a superiority to them. Also, you can still be an asshat regardless of being elitist or not.
An mmo is not the game for you, hell, anything connected to the internet is not for you.
I have the perfect game for you, its called Contra 3, it'll take you never to get through to the end because its just that hard.
In any case, enjoy living with your selfishness, eventually nobody will want to play with you at all.
