PS4 Veteran Fisher Trophy bugged.

The Veteran Fisher Trophy will not unlock after catching 1000 fish. Have caught 1200 so far and nothing.

I have the same issue, have caught well over 1000 fish and the trophy has not popped. My console is also a PS4, but have heard it is bugged for PS3 as well.

From researching this via google. Many sites sources suggest that fish you catch in Coerthas and Mor Dohna do not count towards the PS trophy for some reason. Because of Ixali quests the majority of fish I have caught are from this area.

Am currently fishing other areas besides Mor Dohna and Coerthas to determine if this is in fact what is stopping my trophy from popping. Will report back when either my trophy pops or have caught enough fish in other areas to earn the trophy and it still has not popped.

I guess it checks the number of fish caught by looking at your in-game fishing achievements. Since there are no achievements for fishing in Mor Dhona or Coerthas, it can't track fish caught there.

I have the same problem, "Fish Caught: 1028" and still no trophy. I've been fishing for over 6h in Coerthas today and support answer was more or less "check the forum and stop bothering us". If it's linked to in-game achievements, why the hell it says "Fish 1,000 times." in the trophy description? Someone should fix it! Also, does it mean I can get the trophy by fishing over 600 times in northern thanalan (it's probably how many fish I must catch again now)? I don't want to waste another 6 damn hours on this boring activity.
