    Hotbar/XHB Button & Icon Display

    hello. the display for Triangle and Up on the XHB cover the MP usage. it also makes it more difficult to see when you are in range.

    an option to remove the display of directional and face buttons would make the MP usage easier to see.

    and maybe if the icon kind of like greyed out some, along with MP in red, when out of range. this would make it much easier to see if in range or not at a first or quick glance.

    I get the first part. The display that shows what buttons are being used when part of the XHB is active blocks out the numbers for MP or TP used on a move. You can see it here highlighted for both sides in green circles. It is something I literally never noticed before, but I've never had to micro-manage my MP that closely and I have TP moves for my DoW jobs on every other button BUT Y and Up (which probably explains why I never noticed).

    The first issue, of the MP cost being obscured (or TP/CP/GP cost, whichever's relevant) I actually have more of an issue with when crafting, as CP is a major issue there, so that's where I need to keep careful track of each point spent. But in any context, yes, I agree it would be good if they'd adjust the display so the buttons wouldn't cover the skill cost.

    Whether you're in range for a skill is shown by changing the color of that MP/TP cost number, so when the cost is partially obscured, the range indicator is harder to see as well. I think if the first issue about not covering up those skill cost numbers was taken care of, spotting when a skill is out of range would already be easier, so fixing issue 1 would sort of take care of both issues.
