SE seriously messed up the glamour system in this game. For the type of game it is, multiple jobs on one character, it should have been a system more akin to what is shown in rift.

Break down the equipment windows into 2 similar windows one for equipped gear and one for glamoured gear. Anything in the glamour window would overwrite the image of the equipment window and both windows would be saved to a gear set. This would allow for multi-slot armor (Snowman and Chocobo suit) and job restricted armor (Having both glamoured dyeable warrior af and pvp pld gear while equiping ironworks fending amour).

In addition the process of crystal crafting is overly complicated. 5 tiers of crystals that have the exact same ingredients? It should have been 1 item that can be crafted by any artisan. If they wanted to make it obtuse they could keep the artisan restriction and have it be 8 items 1 item per class. Do we really need 40 glamour crystals?

That said it's doubtful they'll go back and fix it, i just hope they stop making multi-slot/job specific armors.
