Multi Glamour for 1 piece of gear...SE plz i want!

So for anyone else that likes to play dress up. wouldn't it be nice for a piece of gear to have at least 2 slots for Glamour?

for example ... everyone has different views on WAR and PLD and the style they should have ... SE made it easier with condensing healing, tanking, casting gear etc.
but gave us limited glamour choices.

how awesome would it be to grab a piece of horrible looking gear and didn't have to choose which of the 2 classes (due style wouldn't match and or class specific pieces wont cross over to other class) is going to look ugly as hell?

i mean maybe it can work like how u can save the fact one class has their helm showing and other classes don't u can have this glamour work for one class and that glamour for another.

So you mean have two different pieces glamoured to one piece and have an option to display either of those pieces depending on your class/job?

While we're on the subject of glamour I would love to be able to change the dye on the projected item without having to re glamour it. It's a PITA when I'm trying to see what the colours look like in the real environment instead of the preview window.

yeah that's exactly what i mean

u can dye a glamoured item if u wanted to .. im sorry if im misunderstanding what you're saying but it sounds like ur dyeing the item u want to glamour before u actually glamour it?

SE seriously messed up the glamour system in this game. For the type of game it is, multiple jobs on one character, it should have been a system more akin to what is shown in rift.

Break down the equipment windows into 2 similar windows one for equipped gear and one for glamoured gear. Anything in the glamour window would overwrite the image of the equipment window and both windows would be saved to a gear set. This would allow for multi-slot armor (Snowman and Chocobo suit) and job restricted armor (Having both glamoured dyeable warrior af and pvp pld gear while equiping ironworks fending amour).

In addition the process of crystal crafting is overly complicated. 5 tiers of crystals that have the exact same ingredients? It should have been 1 item that can be crafted by any artisan. If they wanted to make it obtuse they could keep the artisan restriction and have it be 8 items 1 item per class. Do we really need 40 glamour crystals?

That said it's doubtful they'll go back and fix it, i just hope they stop making multi-slot/job specific armors.
