Call me old fashioned, but when I think of guns, I don't think of anything life saving... unless you're trying to kill your enemy before they do any damage.

Call me old fashioned, but I don't expect to see a doctor on the frontlines of combat. I would expect an armed field medic, though.

If Gunner ends up being a healer, I just hope they don't mess it up by making it a magic based healer... Crossing my fingers Dark Knight ends up being more than a bit magic based for a tank too, since they really dropped the ball on Paladin in that regard...

Guns firing flechettes full of healy juice have been a design thing in games for a few years now, so it wouldn't be surprising to see them turn up here.
