Hello ladies and gents. Noloe Tazier here. Ascension is once again recruiting. Ascension is a longstanding FC here on Balmung, having formed up during the early days on Fabul. We're primarily an Endgame FC but are very social. We're no server or world first but we do get things done. Ascension includes members from around the world, being active during both NA and EU prime times.

What I and my fellow Officers are looking for in recruits are people who have patience, the willingness to learn, and the ability to crack a smile. We're a very fun and social FC that is not just a friendlist, we're a family. Players who are open minded and looking to make friends and have fun all while downing Endgame content will thrive in Ascension. We're recruiting both experienced players in Endgame and players with little to no experience at all. After all you have to start somewhere so why not join a Free Company that gives support to new players. Duty Finder and Party Finder tend to be toxic and dissolve after a few wipes, for a player newly introduced to Coil or 2nd Coil, it can be tough finding people to run and learn with and many times it can turn a new player off from Endgame entirely. So I stress to newer Endgame players, heck newer players period...Ascension is here to change that. Join us and make great friends while learning Coil, EX Primals, whatever SE throws at us in the future.

Ascension has double daily buffs scheduled reasonably all through the week. Spiritbond day, Gathering day, PvP day, etc. So even if you aren't in the Endgame scene there is always something for you to do and people for you to talk and have fun with while doing so. Our Free Company even promotes RolePlaying Events, our basement (The Moogle Bar) being used for said events. Just a little thing Ascension can give back to the community of Balmung.

tldr version

• Ascension is recruiting experienced and non-experienced endgamers.
• New players are encouraged to apply and grow in a supportive FC.
• Don't take on Bahamut by yourself, we have rat tails both the fishing item and the haircuts.
• Plenty of opportunity to learn Second Coil if you've never been given the chance or have been apprehensive about joining DF/PF. Come be in an environment where you can feel comfortable doing said content.
• Come join one of the longest running Free Companies on Balmung.
• Even if you're not into the endgame scene, apply anyways and take part in the fun social environment that Ascension has to deliver.
• Find a reason to log on other than the dailies grind, join Ascension and log on to see what goofy thing we'll say next.
• RPer Events in our Free Company House "The Moogle Bar"(Lavender Beds Ward 5 Plot 3) --- whether you RP or not.
• Even if you don't want to join the FC we have a Linkshell you can join and keep in touch.

I may be interested, i play about every day, 8 - 10 pm est. I'm interested in Scob progression and beyond. My current FC has fallen apart and the members who stick around only log in for raid nights and leave without a hello. I have all the VoIP programs and enjoy clearing content with friends. My only drawback is I have a full time job and 2 kids, so my time can be squeezed on occasion. I'm male btw, no shame

Your recruitment post has intrigued me. I usually play around 7pm - 11pm pst when I get home from my internship. I'm very interested in seeing endgame and currently have an i97 WHM, which is my main class. My one downside is that work and classes are my priority, and if they conflict with endgame content they would take precedence over it.

What caught my attention is that you mentioned you have a strong helping community. That is what matters most to me because if you aren't having fun clearing content with friends or comrades then what is the point?

I would love to continue this conversation in person if you are still recruiting.

Hey Noloe, sorry I have been away on vacation for the holidays and found only time to run a roulette or two here and there. I stopped by the house tonight. I didn't see you or any of your officers on. I can try again tomorrow. I briefly talked to "viewing cutscene". Definitely looking on joining a good FC that may have an empty roster spot for a static that is still in Scob. Hopefully see you in game.

Definitely would love to discuss joining the team with you in game, my previous ls from the beginning died off mostly as well except for a few so looking for another good team. I do remember your group from 1.0 I also have a new comer as well who just started playing a couple months ago so if there's room for them, I'll have +1 if not then it's not a big deal.
