What happened to better search function and LFP system ?

Just read the latest dev letter and I'm a little annoyed that somehow you have managed to miss an important feature especially considering the addition of more raid content.

The current party search menu is still massively convoluted and broken.

What happened to the addition of a LFP system, (hell there has been enough posts about it.)

Would appreciate if a community dev could find out when and if these additions are still scheduled.

I find it tedious and time consuming to get a party together sometimes and some decent party search features would make it a whole lot easier.

I know Yoshi-P hinted that there was plans for a dungeon finder or cross world dungeon finder I would also like to know if this is still in the works .

I really hope this isn't true. Today's WoW dungeons are a miserable experience precisely because of this.

Dungeon finders have the opposite effect. They make the game less social by repeatedly pairing you with people you'll never see again. This means your behaviour has no consequences and the server community is destroyed when a practically infinite number of outsiders are introduced to dungeon groups.

Well I said dunegon finder (closed server) and cross dungeon finder (cross server) so there is an option to still add a dungeon finder and keep it a closed community system.

I don't think the cross server dungeon finder has destroyed WoW at all, it does what it was meant to do, allows players to quickly find people to do a dungeon without waiting hours for a party, If you are happy to wait around all day then good for you but I don't have the time to sit waiting for a party.

Of course a simple LFP flag which you can put up outside an instance entrance would suffice for the time being.
