I imagine the DRK relics being named Deathbringer/Chaosbringer.

Ragnarok is also already in the gameYou progress through it during the Coils of Bahamut

They Still have Gram

FFXIV can make its own lore etc etc, give-up. It's done.

Warriors are based on viking berserkers. Ragnarok is from norse mythology. Thus, Ragnarok becomes an axe.
Besides, when i think ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION, I don't think of a puny sword. I think of something with real OOMPH behind it. Like a hammer or axe.
Also in most of the games where the Ragnarok sword shows up, there aren't many notable axes in the game unless there's a job system.

When i think Final Fantasy and Ragnarok i think..
This image has overrided my other FF experiences with just weapons and other naming schemes across the universes.

FFXIII Ragnarok is a creature, not a weapon either. The original Ragnarök isn't even a weapon, it's an event, so I don't know why people complain that it's a certain weapon's name lol. SE uses mythology names for items because they sound cool, and many FFs have the same names used on different items/places, it's not entitled to be a certain thing on every other FF.

Ragnarok being an axe instead of a sword isn't nearly as bad as
