I can't have a decent conversation with any of my friends without being spammed by gilsellers, being friend requested by gilsellers, going afk and coming back to gilsellers. Recently I've adopted the unhappy bobomb so that no messages come through, and which s also now killing my income and social activity within the game. now, if you'll kindly excuse me I have to go cuss up a storm & make up new obscenities to describe the frustration this is causing me and possibly other people, thank you for your time.

Nope, it's the gilbuyers. Easy to spot by the average Joe. However, SE thinks we people still believe "it's difficult" to do something about it.

Long story short: sellers will keep on advertising in a heavy buying server (like yours). SE will not (perma) ban buyers because they pay sub. They might ban a few bots so it looks like they're trying. In the end it all comes down to $$€€.

Unfortunately this is true . My ban list has been full for the longest time, and only once in a blue moon is a gil seller finally deleted, only to be instantly replaced by the next spam tell i get .

when an account is banned, the chrs on that account are not deleted. if you have "deleted" on your black list, it means the owner of that chr deleted that chr to make more.

^ This. I barely get one gil seller shout per day on odin and never see bots or speed/fly/tp hackers.

You can delete the older 1/3 in your list.
SE don't delete characters on banned accounts.
