    [dev1021]SP in non-leve parties

Can you please find a way to encourage traditional partying more?

At the start of the game, we had relatively more "normal" parties for SPing, on efts, raptors ,etc. Not saying that there are none now, but with Battle Guildleves providing more SP, as well as behests being somewhat more appealing than before, there has been a lack of SP groups..

Please find the right balance between the 2 (Now I'm not saying to nerf SP from leves, just improve SP in regular groups) so that regular parties are encouraged more..

I think the major problems are:

    1) You don't loss sp when you die.

    2) Leves create no real need to party for causal people.

    It's kind of sad really.

    1) Is just the stupidest idea ever created by any Dev team that adds it.

    2) Guildleves are meant for casuals to get a quick boost for progress with the option to make a quick party.

The main problem is the only remaining patient players are hardcore(most) and there is no hardcore content.
Which is why people are so stuck on guildleves because its the only thing we can relate to in game(to level) besides grinding. Once they add more content for the party/hardcore base people won't even care about guildleves. The casuals will probably just ask for a reset of 24hrs maybe a bit more xp?

SE should make partying the fastest way to level(since the "fastest" is what make people choose their play style).
All they have to do is give a xp bonus for each member added to a party(8 max). Now the exact % bonus will be whatever isn't overpowered but still leaves it faster than just strict solo. This way it promotes more interactions since even having a duo helps. Casuals can still just log on and get their sp fix before logging(which is why they should probably nerf timer to 24hrs).

I miss parties. These should be the primary way to level. Even people party when doing guildleves but then you are out of luck when they're gone.

i feel leves were intended to make quick parties. like you could show up at a camp and find ppl doing leves too, but it's turned into more effort to find a party (without any search functions) and it is less beneficial. i usually just do behest :P

The problems with grinding is for most ranks it is not efficient at the minute. SP/EXP per hour is slow, mobs are spread out to far with long respawn times and Efts and Raptors are pretty much the only things worthwhile doing.

If the lowered respawn times so you didn't need to run all over Eorzea to find the next mob, gave us variety and places to find the perfect mobs for every rank I think this would go a long way to solving some of the problems.

Also a SP/EXP bonus item wouldn't go a miss like the Empress Band to work similar to GA but outside of leves.

Leve should give more SP, because you can't do it endlessly like normal grinding. However, some more SP for normal party would be cool.

My target for SP Grind parties is 20k an hour I think that is reasonable so from R49-R50 should take around 5 hours of continuous grind.

I also see leves as more for the casual people who don't have much time, but with how it is now the difference in the amount of SP you can get from leve per hour compared to what you can get grinding per hour (there are exceptions) is huge. With leve's I can easily do 6 leves and get 60-80k SP depending on how much GA I have within an hour and a half.
