Realm creation unlock?

I want to start playing this game with my friend, but she's on Gilgamesh and the game says that no new characters are allowed on this realm.

Is this restriction likely to be lifted any time soon, or am I not going to be playing this game?

Its just that the server is full at the moment. I'd suggest you try around 12mn to 3am thats when I was able to make mine in the server that I wantedCheck this link

The servers are locked from character creation for time to time - it's an (honestly heavy handed and largely unnecessary) effort to try to push players towards making characters on less populated servers.

Which servers are locked is adjusted every half hour or so on-server, and the page linked above updates every few hours. Try making during odd hours of the night if you want to get onto a server like Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh tends to be open around pretty consistently around 3 AM EST-- that's the time I usually recommend to friends who want to make a character there.

Also, it's important to note that the page linked above is only updated every few hours and thus is often wrong about whether a world is open or closed for character creation. The only way to check for sure is to try creating a character and see whether the world is available or not at that point in time.

I agree. Server locks are more annoying then helpful. I recommend to everyone, 12am-5am PST(your time might actually be different depending on timezone) a good specific time is about 1amPST as its 3am for me.

Just try a different time of day. Usually you can get in just about any server if you try late at night or early in the morning.
