If your fairy can handle all of the healing then you're just spending your time applying damage as a Scholar instead. Depends entirely on the group, the dungeon, things like that, but that doesn't change between Scholar/White Mage really, just the ease with which it can be done.

Exactly. It's easier to do the absolute minimum on SCH in low-level duties, but that doesn't mean that it isn't far more efficient to maximize DPS and help everyone finish the duty that much faster.

I finished WHM after SCH was already 50 and thought I was going to fall asleep playing CNJ in low-level duties since it was mostly a one-button job early on. The majority of lowbie tanks fell into that middle area where they weren't so good that I could risk blowing too many GCDs on assistant DPS, but not so squishy (or so aggressive with pulls) that keeping up with direct heals was any sort of challenge. Zzzzzz.

Get some Garlean Rubber and transform your wand into a slingshot so you no longer need mana to throw stones :U

If you find soloing CNJ to be boring, I can't imagine you'd like any dps class, since at low levels dps are the same thing: spam a couple skills infinitely til dead. Since you already play SCH, I'd imagine healing in dungeons as CNJ/WHM would be... better...? than soloing, but if you hate that as well, I think you're out of luck. I actually really like WHM. It's dps is very straightforward, and so is its healing. Plus you can Holy spam for great justice in Syrcus Tower trash pulls.
