Why do people play Lalafell?

I think it's the other way around, at least the lalafells I know are the most sex obessed specism of all, using their seize for their needs.
As far as I am concerned they are all a bunch of pervs. :P

Lala's are so cute thats why - plus the world does feel bigger. I have an alt Kitty and it feels kinda weird playing as her at times lol

Plus we can always find shelter ^.^

But yeah its the cute factor!

Mostly adorable-ness and the peculiar sense of having something to struggle against with everyone looming over you - goodness knows, FFXIV lacks many other ways to feel a sense of adversity >.>

That said .. good lord why have they still not fixed that stupid issue with the first person camera? No matter how short or tall your Lalafell, unlike all the other races the first person camera's set a foot above our heads rather than at eye-height. It's infuriating.

Every time I see a Lala I feel like I'm looking at the perp on Law & Order SVU.

I could see this argument in a game like TERA where the Elin class aims to be genuinely disturbing at times. But Lalafell doesn't really have much of that "loli" tone to it. They are children-sized, but don't actually...feel like children. They have funny walk animations and such, but the Lalafell race (unlike typical creepy lolicon pandering races in J/K MMOs) dress and carry themselves in adult ways.

There's been some rich Lalafell bastard behind some of the worst events of this game, and the don of the Miqo'te escort ring in Costa De Sol is...some rich Lalafell bastard.


They don't look like children, they have the builds of really really stumpy people. None of the main Lalafell characters have anywhere close to childlike-sounding voices, and they're more solidly integrated into the events of this game's politics than the Miqo'tes are.

Well, I have a few reasons that I play Lalafell:

1: The whole "Adorable" thing.
2: Out of all 5 playable races in the game, Lalafell fits BLM the best for me.
3: I have a habit of making my character as small as possible in MMOs.
4: I just like the race itself.
5: Why not?

plus when i rp my personality dosnt fit well with a huyr or miqote (or even a elezen) plus as my friends will confirm when i switch out i find alas so cute i have to switch back

unless this new race is a beast race in which case LOL BYE LALA .... *switches back to lala 3 days later* ;u;

or Vivi (FFIX) into their team.










And Miquote etc. are so "standard"
