Hello, I'm a mod from the FFXIV Dating reborn discord. Just here to say that its a pretty jolly and fun place with quite a lot of people having found EB partners and a few having found SO.

OmegaRyu got banned from drama and issues caused and unfortunately has been on a vengeful crusade of sort and I can confirm firsthand from the one month and a half I've been there that no selfie has been shared from any of the mods and all bans have been for good reasons. I'm sorry you took being banned so personally Ryu but I would very much appreciate if you could stop spreading out of context / false information. There's a lot of people having found friends and / or partners online there and so please be considerate of creating drama in a place meant for enjoying gaming. Mods are trying very hard to keep this place fun and healthy for everyone inside so please be respectful of the kind of happy and drama free mood we try to have in there, as it is one of the reasons you got banned.

Digging up things from the past on other servers that never happenned again since the creation of this server is downright creepy man, for your own sake and for the people inside trying to have fun, please let go of having been banned.

Please show me a shred of proof that this is false information. Because all I'm hearing is moderators are trying to cover for the admins abuse of power as well as cover his lies. Perhaps that is why the admin refuses to comment?

On a serious note though it seems like every time someone attempts to create one of those Discord servers out of their "good will and helpfull tendencies" for A Tinder Reborn it always, always go south and then the drama is brought back to this thread where everything started. Rinse and repeat, under different names and different characters. No idea why y'all keep trying to make it happen instead of just using the forums like everyone else. Honestly.

I joined out of curiosity at first since I didn't know this kind of thing actually exist(?) but somehow I ended up being a mod there. But boi, am I glad that I'm out of the server and never will join something sketchy like that ever again.

Okay can we all just chill out here... I want to see more bios not drama. The server admin gets to decide who stays and who leaves, that's all, with reason or without any reasons. It's his own server after all, so if he has personal issues with people I don't see why he can't just ban them and be done with it. Easy peasy. So there is really nothing you can do man, just suck it up and move on. Some people find peace in being spineless and blind to the truth, so why don't you give it a try too.

This is not the place to discuss drama, wanted only to make one comment, but yes the main issue that started was because Ryu got kicked and wasnt messaged privately to tell him why, which kind of created part of this issue, and ryu, the falsehood is in you not providing context and yelling power abuse. You got banned for a reason, and you don't agree, so yes I get that you consider this power abuse. Ryu, get over your ban for f*** sake and stop harrassing people or making it weird on a forum thats meant to be for EB hookups. Dude, your personal vandeta is making it hard for everyone around, make a new post about it directly but stop harrassing people here, its not a place for drama.

As you can see, nothing to hide here. My characters name is the same as my mod name for the discord server you are referring to. I have no need or want to cover up anything but I'm also not on any sort of crusade that continues to promote drama. I came here with the same intentions most others did which was to find a cool like minded person to have fun getting through the content of the game together.

So my question to you is what do you actually hope to accomplish here?

My recommendation would be to stop continuing drama in forums that were not made for these types of disagreements and petty back and forths. That type of thing is handled by adults who are able to hash things out without getting the public, not all of whom enjoy silly drama, involved and may not care or want to spend time moving through these ridiculous conversations. Now if your intent is to somehow be a social justice warrior of the dating discord, cool, good luck with that.

My advice as I've given before is that there is nothing you are going to do about the current discord server. The admin is the admin and the creator of that discord channel makes the rules. If you think you can or want to create another one in the image you believe is more fit than why not do so and spare everyone else the continued drama that is not going to change anything in the grand scheme of things.

I am quite neutral in this and have no stake in the game outside of moderating so that people can have a better and more comfortable experience while using the discord server...something we don't get paid to do nor is there like some sort of euphoria we get by having to remove people, now I can't speak for everyone, but I'm too old for that crap.

As my mother would say, take a crap and get off the pot. It's time to move on so please just state your purpose for all of these constant links and pastes and back and forth and mass discord chats in the hopes of swaying people against the admin...so we can all move on. You wanted to get your version of the story out here? Great, Mission accomplished. Are we done? You most likely aren't getting proof and you're not going to get back into the server. So now what? And believe me I'm not saying this with malice or to be condescending. I'd really like to know....what now?

Nope. Not one word. I mean, I'm not always sunshine and beaches like Costa del Sol, but I didn't think much of what I did deserved a kick from everything, especially after levelling a toon to over 50+ to run content with the Discord FC. Sad part is even after all that, I was still trying to stay on good terms with everyone. But for the most part, no one spoke to me.

Up to now, I have been unsuccessful with talking to any mods or admin, being banned, kicked, and blocked from everything. So.....I don't know what you expected to happen with something like this. I'm not here to trash the discord, but give Ryu his due...hes making a point.
