Yea like it really sucks to be a steam player right now. Friend was really excited at being able to play HW for free only to find out they cant because they have ARR steam version.

Main class: SAM is my current flavor of the month, but I like switching things up so I have plenty of jobs at 70.
Dislikes: Toxic players, drama queens, people who take every little thing in the game way too seriously.
Goals for the game: Just having fun for the most part. Running all types of content from hunts to raids, and making sure to use shirk on sprout players when I play as a tank… j/k
Goals for the marriage union: Looking for someone to be a WHM to my PLD, a DNC to my SAM, or any job that can cast raise to my DRG... Alright, alright, in all seriousness just looking to make some friends, people to game it up with, chat, and share a few laughs along the way. I’m just returning to the game after a long absence, so I’m riding solo at the moment. As far as EB, I’d rather just let that play out naturally. If it happens it happens, otherwise just making new friends is a win.

Personal Interests: Martial arts, language-learning, creative writing, game design, hiking, and... theory-crafting?
Play schedule: I'll be soon working from 8 to 6 PST again, so mostly evenings and weekends. I've got a couple weeks free between end of school and having to teach for the summer, though. Yay, prep break...
Gamer type: Midcore. I like playing fairly optimally, but I'm rarely willing to affix myself to a firm schedule unless playing with people I enjoy in and of themselves.
Character/Self: Mancat alt, soon to be main (this guy). Femcat main, soon to be alt I can swap to if need be. Mid-twenties male irl.
Preferred Partner Character/Self: I guess a slight preference towards F/F? Not of huge importance. Just whatever doesn't look too absurd beside my mancat.
Main class?: Fresh 70 PLD atm. DRG on the way (64). May pick up GNB and SCH/SMN or MCH later if they're not too horrible.
Dislikes: I'm not a big fan of healers who refuse to dps on principle, mostly just because I've seen how valuable that can be (even for survival). I'm not sure what IRL analogs that might apply to, but probably those, too? Maybe... false dilemmas? Idk; it's usually pretty hard to tick me off.
Goals for the game: Just prepping for Shadowbringers atm.
Goals for the marriage union: If we hit it off, then having someone to go through Shadowbringers with once that comes out. Ultimately, having someone I'd enjoy talking to and doing stuff with and for whom I can provide the same.
