Marriage Partner Hookup Megathread!

I'm a new player and having issues trying to get the valentines questline, "the ties that bind" I am level 61, finished "they might be pirates" I read that was a prereq, and still nothing in my mail, no quest and cannot figure out how to get this. Can someone please help?

Quest-wise the only prereq is "The Scions of the Seventh Dawn" (part of the mainstory) and being level 50.

To get the item in the mail, you need to order it from the mogstation for the character of your choice - usually its being delivered within an hour or so. You should probably make sure that you picked the right character and have enough space in your mailbox.

You should also note that the Valentionesquest and "The Ties that bind" are to different quests - the Valentines quests starts in Gridania and you have til tomorrow to complete it, if you havent done so yet. "The Ties that bind" on the other hand is the "wedding quest", in which you'll get to marry your partner. You can do that at anytime of the year and its in no way related to our curent seasonal event. Please read the information on the lodestone carefully, though! Specially in regards to the marriage-plans you need to pay real money for.
