Yes everyone waiting someone else to make the first move based on my experience xD

I made the first move between my partner and mostly because I have the thought process of "the worst thing that can happen is they say no and I'm looking again", but it worked out pretty splendidly. He had given up looking, and at this point we've become more than just friends which is more than either of us ever expected.

My point in posting is no one should be afraid to take a leap and reach out to others. Ideally, people will connect and if not they'll be right back here.
