Success can be found here but I do agree that it is rare. Main thing is to be yourself and be completely open with the person you are interested in and hopefully they find you interesting as well. Trust goes a long way and will help when you or the other person has a rough time.
Thankfully I’ve found someone on here that turned out to be a very good match for me, so I know it is possible to find people on here, it’s just not always easy.

like many other people have previously stated, it’s better to actually approach people within your server or your fc mates and branch out from there.

Exactly, in fact anyone who comes on here and puts "No" for the question are you willing to change servers, you are pretty much wasting your time here and would be better served just branching out in your own server and taking a risk and talking to people. I mean it should be clear that if no one is willing to transfer then that leaves your pool pretty empty.
