Everyone is different and are looking for different things from the marriage. Some and I would say most are looking for a regular in game relationship and partner to play the game with. Some are just after the items with no relationship. Take a chance and contact some and see where it goes.

You only need to be 50 to do the marriage quest and get bonded.

I'll have to do more stalking. Being awkward and horrible at talking to people sucks more than super sonic on his last ring at the last boss looking at a flying high speed rocket arm. So I'll keep lurking and whoever sparks something I'll message. There is one person but they haven't posted here. So no go.

Why a no go ? if you know where that person is, make an alt in that server and get after that one...sometimes the result is ..surprising. Good luck. Many people dont use the forums and many more dont want to post in here they just look at the thread just like you did.

Well, bad news. My arrogance, selfishness, self-destructive attitude caused me to end the marriage in a whirlwind of drama (be advised that I was the only person causing drama). I'm probably gonna end up deleting my character to get rid of the stains now on it regarding the embrace emote and ceremony chocobo, if I don't find a static. I don't want to remarry though.

And no, do NOT give me sympathy. Do not give me pity. Do not think I'm the victim. I'm the perpetrator of all this plain and simple.

Well just block her, leave your guild and keep playing, it's just a game, deleting your character at this points would be a huge waste of time and money, don't you think?
