I know almost to 1% what RP experience is. The only time I "interact" with rp people is when I am reading their plot. I tend to stay away from them when they get all crazy or have some weird plot. My experience is about a person that 60% solo in game and 30% spend time with friends/static group, and 10% just chill out/goofing around/just talking and doing nothing in game but just communicating with ppl I know.

I don't mins rp, but I just like to read cuz it is like reading a book. I am not the only one cuz there are ppl that just don't rp at all pretty much like me or they do rp, but they don't do it with me ( yes I know balmung is known cuz of its RP community). In my case I get no RMT, but I used to get 2 to 5 RMT every other week.

I think that's more what I was trying to get at: Balmung is just overall more accepting of different play styles. In Zalera you got shouted at if you tried to advertise an RP anything. But in Balmung you don't have to rp at all: there's still quite a healthy mix of casual, endgame, whatever FCs and groups all about. The fact that I can just walk into any of the towns and potentially just goof and chill with FC mates or someone brand new is nice. That's not unique to Balmung, but it's easier to find compared to some servers But if your sever already has that mix, then a transfer to Balmung may not be necessary.

I think the main problem with the person asking about balmung community is mostly the activity of our community. They said that their server got days that feel as dead servers I can only assume that it is because the server has low population. They got a huge amount of RMT acc actives which make it a bad place to stick around.

As I said in the morning is very quiet (with some exceptions. Sometimes they can be active), but overall the server is active cuz it has actual players playing. I think there is more since the server is closed 24/7 and the only player that actually get in are people from other server looking for players to play with. I must say that there are other servers that probably has a similar activity. I know Gilgamesh has a active community, but I was there for awhile and u do get RMT or bit more compared to balmung.

I'm desperate and lonely enough to give this a go for a while:

Server: Hyperion
Willing to transfer? Maybe, I'd have to be sure it was worth it before committing. I have a special reason for being on this server.
Personal Interests: Anime (and Anime Conventions), Manga, Video Games, Cats, Memes, Cartoons.. The usual.
Play schedule: Whenever my work schedule allows. Usually later at night (central time). Sundays are a no go because I have church in the morning and I usually work at night.
What kind of gamer are you: Depends. Alone I'm usually super casual unless I catch a bug to grind out better gear. With other people I can be persuaded to be hardcore.
Character Gender: Both Nan and myself are women.
Preferred Gender: If this lead to an EB Nan's partner would have to be male.
Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? Eeeeh.. I don't typically get along with women but who knows?
Character Race: Lalafell
Preferred Race: Lalafell, but I'm not racist.
Main class?: Since I find bard the easiest to play solo I'm a bard. Someday I want to learn another job but I don't have the confidence to learn by myself.
Dislikes: Profuse swearing, overly sexual talk, drunks (..Probably the reason I'm alone tbh)
Goals for the game: Depends on who I'm with. My goal is to have fun. I like being leveled and geared to run stuff and I love farming and doing content but I also love just hanging around and doing nothing. When I'm alone I'm usually doing the latter.
Goals for the marriage union: If I was so lucky to someday find an EB partner I'd not only be in it for friendship but for the items (I am a clothershorse and hoarder). Be aware: if Nan gets married she's going Platinum.
Etc: I'm (depressingly) close to 30 though I don't act it at all. I'm very shy at first but soon my true evil nature shows. I LOVE Aldgoats. 90% of the time I'm in it for the loot though on occasion I do like helping people (as I myself need help.. A lot.. ; ; ). I'm easily frustrated with people who just can't get a fight right but I'm gonna be the last person to call you out on it (I've probably frustrated quite a few people myself). I've been here since 1.0 and while I may take extended breaks I don't ever see myself quitting the game so if I disappear for a while you know I'll always be back.
