Well it depends. What's making you nervous the actual idea or the people? The idea is nice. Some people take it serious others see it as exploring content some do it to make a more bonding friendship and then some just like the items.

The people I've been asked by are generally people I know. One way or another it didn't work out and while I don't see it as a big thing I think they did. So it's making me nervous to think what would happen if I got married now I almost feel like I shouldn't.

That is not a good saying at all. I'm not saying You're bad for saying that either.

It is also easier to tell someone else that, when you yourself already have someone. It doesn't make the other person feel good at all, even if you have good intentions behind telling them that. Someone could be alone for 20 years, and you telling them that, is gonna be a WTF moment.

Even more so when you do find someone, and it's the wrong person. Then there's more waiting. Most Miss/Mr Right in the worldd is already married, and I'm sure that even applies to in game marriages.

Well I believe it is saying patience and effort will get you what You want. Also not to settle. But it bothers someone I am sorry.

As far as finding someone I was lucky yes but I never give up.

That is why people need to be clear from the start whether or not it is for the items to find a friend or more. If the other person change it mind, but didn't consult and see if what was established from the beginning changed that its problem. I use its as his/her xP.
