Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? I would prefer the "inverse" - So Male in game/Female in real life - to avoid awkwardness. Weird I know.
Character Race: Au Ra
Preferred Race: I'm willing to work with anything Male really - Lala's would be hard to work with for obvious reasons - but I'm open to the idea. Au Ra would be my favorite as I adore the Au Ra race.
Main class?: White Mage/Red Mage
Dislikes: People who don't pay attention to what I say and assume I said something else. The next thing would be that I prefer to enjoy the game and not be concerned with perfectionism - to learn by doing. Bashing newbies.
Goals for the game: Omnicrafter/to continue clearing the hardest challenges of the game. Would be nice to have a partner.
Goals for the marriage union: Someone who will listen to my rants on the bad days and likewise someone who will rant likewise too me. To have fun doing party content. Enjoy the game. Who knows could be fun stuff in real life down the road. I'm interested in a real life friendship - not looking to rush into anything to be sure - got burned too many times so I'm gun shy.

Willing to transfer? No, sorry. I'm too attached to my FC and the friends I have made throughout my time here.
Personal Interests: Anything that really makes me think. Brain teasers, puzzles, the like. I also like to write, although I don't do it very much at the moment.
Play schedule: Anywhere between mid/late morning and mid/late evening, depending on what I happen to be working that day. Very likely to be mostly towards the afternoons and evening for the next several months, as I work the opening shift quite a lot during that timeframe.
What kind of gamer are you: I'm casually hardcore. I make lofty goals for myself and go about achieving them over time without really worrying about it. I like the social aspect of FFXIV the most, but I'm also content with just spending a bunch of time gathering and crafting in peace for a few hours or sitting somewhere and watching chat while doing something else on occasion.

Goals for the game: To experience as much of it as I can.

Etc: Hello, I am Alyssa, a 24-year old transgendered female. I haven't been the biggest fan of the MMO genre (as they usually struggle to catch my attention), but FFXIV managed to grip me quickly and make it easy for me to get into. The community has done a great job in leaving a good impression within me when I initially started playing back in May, so I try to pay the favor on whenever I can.

I like the large variety of content within the game, but it's the social aspect that keeps me around most of all. While I am looking for an eternal bonding opportunity, I am still happy to add anyone who would just like some more friends around. To those who are wanting to eternally bond, keep in mind that I want to take my time to make sure that I click with my partner before going through with it.

Play schedule: Nearly every day, though times vary a bit (I work till about 11 EST). Often on during the day before work, and then later, and on my days off quite often.

What kind of gamer are you: Casual/focused. I tend to love all aspects of a game, though it is the social aspects that keep me most interested. I tend to mix crafting, gathering and questing in with RP, fishing, and sitting around and chilling and just chatting with folks. MMOs are about the overall social experience to me.

Do you care if the player in real life is not the same gender as their character? It is perhaps picky of me (and a bit silly, yes), but yes. Preferably female in game and reality...though I am NOT looking for anything past friendship on and OOC level!

Preferred Race: Anything but Lalafell and Roegadyn. Sorry to folks playing those two races! Definitely happy to have friends there and RP, though.

Main class?: Paladin. Slowly working my way through content and plan on at least trying out most classes, though I love tanking, so some flavor of "tank class" will always be my "main"

Dislikes: Dishonesty, two-facedness, inability to commit, rudeness, intransigence, "woe is me" syndrome, drama llamas and "mary-sue-itis". Oh and people who think netspeak is proper English. We're not using SMS people...there is not a limit on what you can type in a line (and yes I know there is an eventual cutoff...that is what extended posts are for).

Goals for the game: To explore the game, experience the story in classes and main scenario, quest, see dungeons, craft, and enjoy RP

Goals for the marriage union: To have a partner for the game. Maybe not "all the time", but able to chat and hang out and do things, even if not questing. Most importantly, another RPer who is interested in a story between our characters. Romance, adventure, exploration and fun (and yes, mature subjects). More "light hearted" than not...I think most of us deal with more than enough drama and upset in our daily lives. Gaming should be something of an escape. Overall though, ideally? A partner to enjoy the game with and keep both of us interested in coming back to play.

Etc: I am a new player to FFXIV, though not new to MMOs in general. Long time RPer, wetting my toes in tabletop gaming and branching out over the years. I prefer in game contact, though do use Discord for chatting (I just often pay no attention to it while gaming).
