If searching is not working for you, why don't you try being found? Sometimes a set-up relationship won't work. Why not instead let fate take control and just be you. Somehow, somewhere, sometime, someone is going to find you and something is going to blossom from it. You won't see it coming either. But you need to have patience. It can happen tomorrow.. or in 2months.

But please, just have hope and not gloom. Relax...there's a person for everyone. Allow yourself to be found.

Maybe I shouldn't, although I've been waiting for about 4 months or more, I can't recall, only to meet people to use me to only get items from me wasting my time and money when all I want is an in-game companion/friend and/or whatever else they can offer. I rather not go through my first MMO alone, as would anyone else.

Indeed. I came to this thread out of boredom, with no excpectations whatsoever. It may or may not take time, but you'll find that special someone you are looking for.

Goals for the marriage union : a partner, friend I can trust (hard to find), mature (harder to find), based on the understanding that we dont need to be glued to each other, we have our stuff to do too (like I craft), build something in-game..and see where it goes in-game that is.
Etc... : I am blunt, extremely blunt, some consider it rudeness, it could, if you cannot bare someone that will tell you if you are a jerk, dont bother and if you dont have a thick skin dont bother either, we would not go along at all, sensitivity is not something I am a friend with, of course you can expect the same in return

And just putting this out there, even though this isn't actual marriage, I take it seriously. I find a friend, whether they are male or female, we become good friends be they casual or hardcore in running content. We decide to stick together and undergo Eternal Bonding, meaning that our bond as friends (or lovers for some that are dating in relationships) is strong and we just have that click. To have that Bonding easy broken by being used to get a measly two-seated mount, or just never being there for that friend, or just having unresolved a misunderstanding through communication is somewhat insulting and just shows that that person is just not all for it. So, that is all that I have a problem with and can't find because so many people just never get or give the chance to know someone else and become more than a name on your friends list or just another FC or LS member. That's all I ask and wait for.

We all are different, we all seek something and is hard, just like in RL, is very hard to find that match and that particular person. Most dont know how to say they were wrong or say *sorry* so often that at the end you know they are just trying a way to avoid you without having the courage to say it. Most want it for hte glamour and show off....but guess what..stick it out, I have not given up yet (I had someone but timings didnt work among other things), so you shouldnt either ..keep hoping and meanwhile just be who you are...people need to take you for who you are not what they want you to be.
