I ain't no ones kid! I don't see my character as a child. He's just a guy trying to get by like the rest. I've seen plenty of the lala hate but I just ignore it. People wanna judge me on what my characters race is and then try to use it for laughs are people who aren't worth my time to get to know. I don't mind friends joking since it's scarce and they come to see me as a reliable and trustworthy friend first. I think it's just people are unable to see past the race, and that's their own problem to deal with.
Always looking to meeting new people on Balmung! Send me a /tell in-game!
I know that people are just that immature to relate to children. If that character were reserve exclusive for people underage (17 y/o or less) I would understand people staring on other players. I have friends that are way older than what their character looks or just different gender. then again there are children that make things worse by doing/pretending to be older... mehI ain't no ones kid! Lalafels are cute but they don't look like kids And they are also not even kids
I always thought people were joking about hating LaLas. =T
For anyone trying to contact me or thinking about contacting me. I'll rarely be on for the next 9 days due to ToS KR CBT. Soz :<

remember that as much as there are people that dislike people saying that Lalas are a evil, conniving child race, there are an equal amount of lala people who embrace this and feed into it. Numerous threads, signatures and other outlets can demonstrate people playing off of this. Again, it is their freedom to do so. There are also threads that call elezen ugly lanky giraffe like people, do some people play off of this? maybe, does it bother me? no. Thick skin, thick skin, thick skin.

But Lalafells are the prime target to many jokes everyone else is on the side.
Think about the DRG jokes, after a while it gets annoying or grows tiresome to some.
Not a big deal, but people who don't wanna be friends with someone because of a race is silly.
It falls into...
Lalafells.
Elezen.
Roe.
Miqote.
Au Ra
Hyur.
In order of picked on. Not many care about Hyur's, just the run of the mill race.
There tend to always be jokes about the smaller races. I usually see no harm in it. Though the eating lalas jokes are a bit much. In WoW there was always the joke about punting gnomes and it widened to goblins once they were released. Those are just silly jokes.
The FemRoe hate I see as more insidious because it's based on patriarchal views of femininity and beauty which greatly negatively effect women. It comes from the view that girls with muscles equals bad and ugly. Which also leads to transphobia as well.
Just a bump.
