    Do you want crystal tower removed or reworked?

    Going forward into heavansward and 3.0 would you like SE to change their raid format to either removing the (easy) crystal tower raid or reworking it to a as hard as coil raid but with the larger 24 man format. Essentially giving 2 hard raids just with different sizes.

    Similar to the removal of LFR raid mode in wow. More of a return to the past MMO's where even stepping foot into a raid was difficult and required planning not just simply queuing up.

    Also do you feel the addition of the CT line of raids has damaged the game or genre in anyway?

    I really like how they are currently using the CT.

    Also in 3.0and beyond CT will be mostly forgotten. So ya at that point they should toss in some high level crafting items and then people will still do it.
    Or more tomes

    As for Wow, never raided in wow so no clue how it worked.

    I would love to see hard modes for the Crystal/Syrcus Tower series. I understand that (2.5?) will bring the end to the story of the towers, but hard modes or even savage could be fun. I personally enjoy the 24 person raids quite a bit, plus it could be a way to include more people in FC events, for example, rather than splitting everyone up in to groups of 8 all the time.

    I don't know what LFR raid mode is, I stopped playing WoW years ago. However, I played EQ and raids always required planning and true teamwork (without voice chat!), and it always made the wins that much sweeter.

    I don't think the CT/ST raids have damaged the game at all. They're fun for those of us who enjoy the larger-group events and they provide yet another opportunity to gear up if you don't want to spend it grinding away in 4-person dungeons or hunts.

    Two different modes would be nice. One that has the same difficulty as the current CT and another that will be on par to the challenge of coil for 24 man players. The gear doesn't even have to be better I'd do it for the challenge and maybe a mount/minion/title. It would be great if the gear was better but it would probably a little more difficult balancing the gear ilvl initially.

    I am not sure a beefier crystal tower will work out. I remember reading that the original tower was supposed to have been much more difficult, but the developers decided to scale it back because they knew 24 random strangers wouldn't be completely in sync with each other for strategies and knowing how everyone plays (compared to the 8 man statics that we see today). Seeing how most players today can't even do the simplest things like having the off tank smash spawned adds so the healer doesn't die, I am not confident that a harder CT would go over well.

    CT is fine as it is now; each alliance having a simple role, but they better execute it with near perfection.

    Eh... what I would like to see is them making the "casual" raid to be the one more tied to the main story and the "hardcore" raid to be the independent side thing. Because that's where they shot themselves in the foot with it, I think, leaving a bad taste in many players' mouth. So, Crystal Tower itself? Don't really care either way really. But the principle of it... yeah, that should really be thought over.

    There's no reason to beef up the casual/mid-core raid option. Coil is right there to smash your head against with 7 of your best internet buddies.

    Also no, I don't think the presence of the CT line has somehow managed to damage MMOs as a genre. I'm not even sure how that would work.

    I agree that content should be tailored to both casual and hardcore players à la ct/coil but there seems to be many that disagree with me. It seems like every player on the forums is always disappointed with the 4 man dungeons every patch since they aren't as you said "smash your head in hard".

    There was mention of making present content easier, so would require less players to clear it when 3.0 is released, like making 4 peep dungeons soloable and things like CT not reuireing a full alliance due to fact that practically none would be doing it anyways. But allowing new players to be able to progress the 2/0-2.5 storyline prior to heavensward story.

    Why CT was delayed from being released with 2.0 and pushed back to 2.1. The gear (ilvl 80) was meant as a step up for coil. DL to CT, CT to coil. But due to being delayed one update that gear progression got thrown out of sync and ended up with ilvl 80 gear when the majority where at or near full ilvl 90 from myth and coil.

    Personally (and I expect some others would agree) putting it in at its difficulty for 2.0, then nerfing it with 2.1 would have more than accceptable.
