That misses the Damage stat on your weapon, which is really the most important stat of all for any class.


I agree with the problem this thread complains of, but think the best solution is a weighted average, emphasizing the most important pieces of gear. Right now, the only weighting applied to our average iLvl is the fact that multi-slot equipment is counted once for each slot it takes up. In addition to that, they should be weighing weapons as greater than armour which is greater than jewelry. (If they wanted to get even more specific, they could even split it out farther along the lines of: main weapon > off-hand > body/legs > head/hands/feet > belt > jewelry, but really the most important part is that weapons > armour > jewelry if they want to keep it fairly simple.)
