[Trivia/Screenshot Contest] In the Spirit of Giving - House Giveaway!

Dream of having a warm house to live in and celebrate with friends and family? Just want a piece of Eorzea you can call your own? With Christmas drawing near, I'm spreading the holiday cheer by giving away 10 small houses! All you have to do is participate!

The rules are simple:

• All entries must be posted in this thread, the Reddit thread, or my google doc. Entries posted elsewhere will not count and I will not even look at them. For those without forum accounts for any reason, please use the Reddit link instead or message me in-game with your submission and I will post for you.
• Each player may submit only one entry. If multiple entries are submitted, only the first one will be looked at and the rest will be ignored.
• Once an entry is posted, you may not edit the post. Any edited posts will be disqualified. This is to ensure early posters can not go back and change their answers since they have an advantage in a tie-breaker scenario. Therefore, I strongly encourage all participants to double-check their entries before submitting.

Edit: One more rule: Your character must appear in screenshots along with the objectives. Apologies to anyone who may have already started.

Other important things:

• This forum has an image limit per post so you might not be able to fit all of your screenshots into one post. Please use an image host and submit links instead or if you choose to use img tags, clearly label your screenshots and split them up into two posts.
• While not required, I would encourage participants to use the spoiler tags to hide screenshots.
• Please mention your character name in your post. If there is no name on your post, I will assume it is your main character selected for these forums.
• While anyone is welcome to participate, please be considerate and leave this contest open to those who are less fortunate instead of looking to claim your 10th alt house.

Five winners for this contest will be chosen by the posts with the most points awarded, one point per correct screenshot. In the case of ties, the winners will be the first posts made. Five more winners will be randomly selected (using random.org) from among all remaining participants. Prizes will be distributed on Tuesday, Dec. 23. If you know you will be gone by then, please mention that in your post and I will friend/mail you the gil.

This contest is a mix of riddles, trivia, and attention to lore. I tried to make sure many of these were easy and accessible even to newer players, but the deciding points may come from the more difficult or obscure ones. So with that said, here is the list of things I want you to find:



1. There are several entries to the Coil of Bahamut located throughout Eorzea. Among them, you can clearly see the doors in Eastern La Noscea, inside Castrum Occidens; Eastern Thanalan, at the Burning Wall; and Coerthas, in the middle of Boulder Downs (though not directly related to Coil, it's still an Allagan door >.>). I want a screenshot to one of these doors. It's up to you to decide which door I want.

Only one of the following statements is true.

A. I want the door near Wineport.
B. I want the door at the Burning Wall.
C. E is the correct choice.
D. A is the real answer.
E. I want the door in Coerthas.
F. C is right.

2. A camp between pride and peace (one screenshot).

3. Take a screenshot of mobs that use each of the following attacks (5 screenshots total). There may be more than one correct answer for each and any correct ones will be accepted.

A. Sticky Tongue
B. Stone Gaze
C. Bombardier
D. Sickly Sneeze
E. Flatten

4. The number of guilds (DoM, DoW, DoL, DoH) in Limsa Lominsa marks the spot in a land covered in snow. Take the number of Sasamo's sins, divide it by the number of items the Itinerant Moogle sells, add the number of NPCs aboard the Astalicia, including the one hanging from a rope, and finally subtract off the total number of the guilds in Ul'dah, the number of Lalafell NPCs found in the Eternal Sleep, and the level you start the game with and you will see why I made you do all this random counting and math (one screenshot).

After the contest ends and the winners are chosen, I will contact the winners and they can meet me in front of the plots they want. There, I will trade the gil needed for the plot + house + some extra furniture money. So basically, I'll trade you 3 million gil* if you win.

* Actual amount may vary, since some plots were recently vacated and reset to 4+ million, but 3 million will be minimum.

On an unrelated note, one of the problems seems to be confusing a lot of people but one person has gotten it right so far so ... I don't know. >.>

No. I wasn't sure how easy (or difficult) it would be for PS3/4 players to share screenshots but I tried to make made sure all questions were fair for non-raiders as well as PS3/4 players. That's also why I spam the reddit short link in-game instead of the link for this thread since it's easier for PS3/4 players to type.
