Look how nice that miqo'te looks in that outfit. Now look at the actual outfit. Also, note the stunning lack of fur-lined gloves for the actual outfit, despite them being in the promotional artwork for said outfit.

HOW DID YOU SERIOUSLY PUT CUTE MATCHING GLOVES IN THE ARTWORK BUT COULD NOT BE BOTHERED TO ADD THEM TO THE ACTUAL OUTFIT. THIS IS ALMOST AS RIDICULOUS AS HAVING ARTWORK FOR THE LADIES WEARING SWIMSUITS AND BARE FEET WITH NO BARE FEET OPTION EVEN IN THE GAME.

I don't even know what to say anymore. Thanks, I guess? Better luck next year?

Do you think sometime in the future we'll be able to have better fur textures to make that kind of outfit look as nice as the art? Or put in gloves you tease in the artwork? Thank you for your consideration.

it takes way, way more than 5 minutes to plan, design, and test something. Given the fur trim at the top of the gloves, I can see it possibly have been actually designed, but they probably scrapped them because the fur trim may have caused excessive and noticeable clipping issues.
This is conjecture, of course...

Also concept art will ALWAYS look better since it doesn't have the same limitations that our character models have. Hell, the concept art is designed first and usually by separate people than those who actually create and render the assets, so some differences in the final product have to be accepted. I'm disappointed too, but it's not as big a deal as the OP makes it.

I didn't see any hair extensions item on XIVDB, so I'm thinking it might be a mistranslation of them talking about the fake mustache.
