I am over it. After too many Aurum Vale runs i realised this game is not making me happy anymore. I have cancelled my sub and probably won't even be back for the expansion. It's just going to be more cruel grinding for a whole new relic weapon.

Yup and after you get your shiny weapon and so what? Do what with you but other then coil? Lol noting you do noting with it lol? Pvp? Hahaha Ilevel limit lolololol

Maybe one day they'll make up their minds progression wise, the first relic quest was steady guaranteed progress, aside from arguably RNG for WP mats and the materia and of course Titan groups back in the day, Zenith though is guaranteed progress all the way.

Then came the Atma fiasco followed by the Animus book part which is steady guaranteed progress again, aside from maybe dungeon queues and horrible FATE timers.

Then came Novus which is a mix of guaranteed progress and some RNG with materia if you don't want to buy it, then Nexus is guaranteed progress all the way again. Now it's back to an Atma-lite RNG with some guaranteed progress in terms of tomes/GC seals/gil you need and then the fact that all 4 quests are roadblocked so you can't even queue for all the dungeons at the same time, and then some more RNG with mats and crafts.

Of course once again, there are no real challenges to face, no Chimera or Hydra like challenges, just another rehash of existing content to keep that content supplied for new and existing players possibly well into Heavensward, which is all the relic quest will apparently be relegated to.

This just solidifies that the zodiac chain is for completionists and glam purposes. Actual timely character progression is better served through other means. Because if the drop rate on those dungeon drops is low like 5%... You are looking at waaaay too many dungeon runs for my taste. (320 expected runs for the 16 drops at 5% chance?)

I stopped Zodiac chain when it was clear to me I were to get myself into that tunnel of grinding I escaped time ago, when had to farm one full week to get my 0,1% exp.
Now I make myself happy with just UAT weapons.

If someone shows its shiny novus 2.0 in meh face, guess what? I-DO-NOT-CARE !!!

Do it like me: Forget those extremly time and effort wasting atma weapons - and higher!!

Stick with the lv110 weapons we can get at 100% chance with just 1300 Soldy Tomes + Un. Allegan Tome + 1 Time Sand o_O

After many months of playing(not grinding! - I just do roulettes for bonus tomes and 0-3 Sycrus Tower per week)
I has all 10 lv110 soldy tomes-weapons and Im very happy/proud about it! (I threw away my 2 Zeniths though! o; )

I dont need other weapons! lv110 is more than enough o_o
The next upgrade is, if we get lv150 weapons. But that is far far away and also not sure if such high ilvl will exist ;D

If I would had put al lmy effort into Zeniths, Atmas and idk there names. I would have not any good weapon Lol, because I hate grinding for items that has luck based drop rate. o.x
