Which, as the developers have said, is not an intended function that, if it continues, will be shut down. It was an oversight on a feature, and that armband was intended to be given to one's partner in much the same way as an engagement ring is given from one person to another.
Also, with that, I refer to buying bis items directly with cash.
Did they mention anything about the dyes? I only saw mention of the bracelets.Which, as the developers have said, is not an intended function that, if it continues, will be shut down. The dyes are no different than what people have been doing since obtaining them through Retainer ventures, which you can also buy extra retainers on mog station and have them go out to get it = essentially the same with the only difference is the RNG nature of actually getting it.

The dyes are completely 100% untradeable. I know because I have tried trading dyes as gifts to friends and it's just not possible to trade. Anyone trying to sell these dyes on the Party Finder is scamming you.

What they're trying to sell is the act of dyeing items using those dyes. Presumably you give them the item, they dye it, and then trade it back.

It's like having another crafter meld a materia for you over a trade window. This is done in similar fashion, which, I do not see a problem with.
In fact, I do not see a problem with any of this. At the point you buy the item from cash shop, it is up to you to do with it as you will. If people are not asking for RMT of the item, then it is up to the players to determine the worth of the item in question. That's called economics...
So SE splashed the economy a bit... they do that in every new content update. Especially crafting heavy content updates. People will always find a way to play the system at the start to get the biggest reward out of it. In one month time, I'm sure this will die down and things will start to stablize, as they always do. Why people are making this out to be such a shit storm is beyond me.
SE is a business like any other in this world. They make games and content for games as a business. They are not here to make things for you for free... nothing is free. You sub pays for the basic game/service. They are making additions available for you if you so wish to buy them. If you feel this is unjust, I'm sorry to burst your bubble but this is how business works. As does most of the world you live in.
I don't go into a game shop and buy a PS4 and then stair at the cashier asking where are my free games since I just bought the console. You have to buy the extra stuff for the damn thing. This is the same thing. GET OVER IT!... GAH!Sd ajsdkljas;dlkja;skdj;ask;dkaljsda;skajbsdkasuhdyuashdljkb /faceroll

Not to be all doom and gloom, but if they were really that concerned with it, it would have already been hotfixed.Which, as the developers have said, is not an intended function that, if it continues, will be shut down. They benefit too much from the mad rush people made to buy them from their shop to do anything about it until it goes out of vogue.
