    Packet loss to gameservers

    Hello,

    since today I am facing huge issue with packet loss to the game server.

    As you can see from image, the problem is NOT in my internet or at my side.
    I tried to ping JPN site - no problem.
    I tried to ping Reddit - no problem.
    Only problem is when i am pinging game lobby or my server ragnarok.

    Can u assist me and solve this issue?

    This causing a lot of ingame lags and disconnects, problem is only since today.

    Its working flawless.
    So the problem is in route of COGENTCO.

    You should rethink your contract with em if you have any, because they services are poor.
    And finally please move servers to europe to avoid this.

    I am not willing to pay additional 10dollars per month for wtfast

    Sorry, but its not my problem, I am paying for the service about 120euros per year. SE technicians have to solve this. Also game have numerous customers from europe. Just move EU servers to europe so it can goes thru few hops even routes of local providers.

    They've already said they're making a Euro data center. It just isn't up yet.

    Ive been experiencing the same/similar problem today, atm the game is unplayable (freezing constantly). Pinging my server (lich) results in a 25-75% packet loss. Did a trace route as well, looks just like yours. Im just gonna wait and hope it gets sorted but since a thread existed i wanted to leave a comment.

    SE has no control over who's network your ISP puts you on to get you over to Ormuco's network. It is your ISP's policies that are putting you on PsiNet, who is part of Cogent. They are the ones who can contact Cogent about the packet loss, or (depending on who all they peer with) they may be able to switch you to TATA or some other top tier provider to get you over there. You need to be dealing with Tier3 support or better though... the lower tiered help desk guys that you typically deal with initially can't address such issues, so you will likely need to push for escalation to a higher tier of support.
