Suggestion: Push back a patch if you need more QA time.

Please SE, next time you have a patch, it's ok to postpone it a little to get more time to QA.

Seeing this amount of known issues regarding the Eternal Bond System in the patch notes:

The Eternity Ring item does not appear correctly during the cutscene at the end of the Ceremony of the Eternal Bonding.
The Veil of Eternal Innocence item does not appear properly on Lalafells under certain conditions.
In the Ivory Chapel in the East Shroud, when attempting to perform a Quick Synthesis the Crafting Log window will close without an error message.
In the Ivory Chapel in the East Shroud, when attempting to perform a Repair the Repair animation will be displayed without actually repairing the item.
During the Ceremony of Eternal Bonding, an error message does not appear properly when there is insufficient Inventory space.
In the special quest “The Ties that Bind”, under certain conditions, the player can advance through the quest without obtaining all of the necessary clothing.
In the special quest “The Ties that Bind”, under certain conditions, the player cannot open the map from the Journal.
In the special quest “The Ties that Bind” some text may not appear correctly when talking to the NPC “Claribel”.

Then seeing people having issues with the Magicked Prism:

Is it the same vendor as the other prisms such as the bubbles, pedals, etc.? Because I have Platinum Plan and there's none for sale.

"Couples who selected the platinum plan can also purchase the special Magicked Prism (Hearts) ceremony favor."

It says that on the Eternal Bond Page but I've yet to actually find any vendor near by the church selling them.

That you didn't review properly what was written on the website about it, leading people to not realize that the downgrade was for all bonuses, not just the ceremony.

And let's not forget that if a player chooses not to downgrade, but the other player says yes, the downgrade goes through! It should just not go to the next step until the players can both agree.

so, i bought a platinum edition of the marriage system. went around looking for someone to marry. a random person joins, and says they just want to do it for the dress, so i say "ok" as i click the npc, a warning prompt comes up. saying that if i continue my package will be downgraded. of course i dont want it downgraded, so i back out. but the OTHER person did not. ....so the system downgraded me anyways. i feel like this is REALLY under handed, and a major oversight on SEs part. im posting this in an attempt to find out if anyone else has had this flaw in a warning system happen to them.

So please, take the extra time you need to do more QA and planning. It's ok - really! If there's anything you should have learned from 1.0, it's that an unfinished product reflects very poorly.

But they can't stop their bombardment of new patches and fluff things or the 2.0 casuals will cry and quit and leave the 1.0 legacy players to play FFXIV alone again. 8D
