Thread: will Stoneskin II change in 3.0

I'd hope they wouldn't add in Stoneskin III, imagine how jealous all the SCH's will be.

Also on topic, who knows and who cares. The expansion will push every class forward and SE will balance them accordingly, Stoneskin II won't make a WHM any stronger or weaker.

A common supposition right now is that WHM will get a trait that allows SS2 to be cast in battle and the 18% hp shield generated by it makes it unlikely to be shared as it currently stands.

Stoneskin II was added for one reason and one reason only, to save the party the awful amount of time it takes for the WHM to re-stoneskin every player in the raid and then wait for his/her mana to go to full after every wipe. It will never get a trait to be used in battle, and it will not affect what skills it gets in the expansion. Look at Ninja, they have more class skills than other classes, but that is no reason to give them any less skills in the expansion, can you imagine what kind of uproar that would cause?
