Thanks for your answers. I'm almost level 45 so I'll push a little and see how the 3rd mudra goes with that ping.
In any case, I think I'll have to make a macro and say something like "please excuse me for my high latency" every time I join a party Dodging stuff can also be tricky.

Update:
Casting fûton / doton / suiton with fûton buff: between 2.4 and 2.7 seconds loss.
Casting fûton / doton / suiton without fûton buff: between 2.1 and 2.4 seconds loss.

What's weird is that occasionally I get perfect queuing. It's just... Random.
