Thats Assassinate, really.
Unless it also locks us in place (which I hope it doesnt).
Duality sounds amazingly good... now I have to think a way to make an opener with that in mind so I can actually abuse the aggro skills :/
Doubt it will affect DoTs, right?
Reading again the Digest it was hinted that the positionals would be a nerf (a very mild one tho) to counter the huton extending buff... which now that I see a very reasonable number can tell why... 30 seconds of extension does make it so AE and this new skill can alternate pretty smoothly. Also, no reason to lose Huton at all... and that means a lot of ninjutsus... damn D:
So 80% enmity proc reduction huh? Too bad it doesnt work on Tanks if I wanna get a healer dead :v!!! But I can see the teamwork utility this has XP
"Oh shit! MT died and OT was so focused on DPS rotation that their aggro fell under the healer!!" *throws the skill the healer's way* *saves the day* *no one notices* PERFECT NINJA :U!
Too bad is no enmity transfer so we can feed our DRK pets some onmnomnom-jerks :v
"here, have a cookie".

Yeah I get the actual use. I meant more as far as how "useful" they will be in regards to new content. On face value, they seem pretty limited to take up two skills. As for the 2nd one, there seems to be conflicting info. The first one you would use if you (or a party member) grabs aggro.
The second would be like a form of quelling strikes. So pop it before your burst damage so that you don't pull aggro (or same for party member)
Although to be quite honest I don't really see myself concentrating on other peoples aggro and typically when aggro is stolen it's me.
That last one said reduce by 80%, but I've also seen that its "transfer enmity from NIN to target", meaning its not usable by the caster.

Two more days tho.... lol
The wait is real.

ok, i will ask one more time the same thing than before, when can we use Aeolian edge with this? it means to be used one time every 30 second. and like i have show before, exept if someone is placing Dancing edge or storm's eye for us. we will not be able to maintain the debuff/dot and use Aeolian with this.
if you don't believe me, try yourself to do a cycle of 70 second and see if you can put an Aeolian edge combo in the cycle. (even without count the mudra lag)

Duality recast time is 90s
"combo bonuses and additional effects will only be applied once"
so you'd get 100 potency extra because AE without combo bonus is 100 potency
the wording on the skill is very suspect honestly. it won't work on trick or sneak attack since they are abilities, not weapon skills, so the best use of it with this tooltip would be for spinning edge.

That's weird. The tooltip sounds more like the enmity transfer we've been told we'd get.
It says:
ScreenshotGrants target party member the effect of Silhouette, diverting 80% of all enmity generated to your doppleganger. No effect when the target is under the effect of Shadewalker.
Perhaps you make a shadow figure of yourself that's just there to soak the target's enmity, hence reducing their hate? And that's the doppleganger?
Really sounds more like you link to another person and they gain your silhouette and you transfer your enmity to them, which fits with what we've heard.
But that reddit guy says it doesn't work on tanks? That wouldn't make sense then.

Yea, I don't know what to make of that. It kind of makes the skill a little underwhelming imo. So is it just gonna add potency or will the potency for the second attack be registered seperately?"combo bonuses and additional effects will only be applied once"
so you'd get 100 potency extra because AE without combo bonus is 100 potency
the wording on the skill is very suspect honestly. it won't work on trick or sneak attack since they are abilities, not weapon skills, so the best use of it with this tooltip would be for spinning edge.

I think I actually get Duality, it's a bit different.
I linked the screenshot of the tooltip above.
It has a duration of 10s. It's doesn't say a single weaponskill. It says single-target weaponskill.
I believe this means for 10s, all your single-target weaponskills hit for their non-bonused damage.
It says "double the number of non-critical strikes for a single-target weaponskill". The "a" might imply one ability, but then the "strikes" implies a few.
What I'm wondering is....if you crit do you not get the effect (the wording sounds like that)? Or do you get the effect as if you didn't crit?
The former would be dumb.
Anyway, I'm more inclined to believe my reading of this because they always say "the next (weaponskill)" if it was just one.
