Positionals are a Nerf

I can totally see where you are coming from.
When Yoshi and their team reached the NIN presentation it was something along the lines of "oh, NIN, well, NIN is NIN... here look, acrobatics! Yup... oh and NIN will have positionals. Okay NEXT!!"

Soooo yep, it can pretty much exist as a nerf but given that much info in the letter chances for them being a buff are just as high, no reason for me at least to lose hope. Just yet.

Almost EVERY Class will now be required to re-learn their rotations/skills/playstyle. Your not the only Ones!!

That is my qualifications to speak about this(should update at some point since i logged out as ninja). I just love the this class is harder then this class my class is harder then your class. None of the classes are relatively hard to play if your good at the game. Hell you don't see the main people in this thread going to the monk and dragoon forums to dig into them and there were plenty of times to do it to dragoons. Sick and Tired of the get gud crowed showing up in here and saying MONKS HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT DRAGOONS HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT. We get it doesn't mean that people in this thread can't discuss why they don't like it in a civilized manner without it resorting to people coming in here with the stupid get gud posts. the people above me explain why some people in the thread don't like positional being added. I could care less positionals it doesn't make or break me since i play monk as well and hell if they broke ninja to the point of being horrid I can still fall back on other classes.

Here are peoples views its prob split about positionals people will get over it even if they don't like it. Second people are frustrated that SE can't do anything about mudra lag (that we know of unless they redesign it.) and the new combo finisher is only a band-aid fix for it. Others feel shortchanged by the fact that we don't have just 1 but 2 threat modifiers. Finally there are the ones who are worried since we haven't gotten much information about the last skill that is solid. So come the patch notes most of the worries will be gone OR it will be completely broken in EA and release and Eventually SE will fix it. Stop coming in here with the stupid get gud posts and go spend your time somewhere else and not in this thread they don't contribute to the discussion in any meaningful way.

I wonder about that, I could whine about it the whole week, so much waiting pain :v
Also, Im pretty sure there will be some whining right after HW enters, since unlike other jobs we will be able to open our skills' window and see the changes right there and then :/

Positionals are fine. All it does is make it harder to maximize dps just like the other melee jobs. It's way too easy for a ninja to do max dps at the moment. It's a necessary change.

I dunno, a lot ninjas I see don't even do near the max dps they can actually do. But then that goes with all other dps you see in df on average. I think its easy for ninja to do okay damage without much effort but to do their optimal dps requires more attention and prep. Also making sure you don't fuck up your mudras or having to worry that the boss changes direction just before you land your trick attack and lose out in potency and vulnerability debuff.
