Took Raiton out of my Rotation for this parse, gained about 20 DPS (could be RNG, I did peak at 1k DPS at the start) - 645 DPS.

You also have a very specialized Item set that you can only get with the Augmented Dagger; You can't use the Crit/Det Augmented pants when you get the Dreadwyrm ones. (Not that 645 isnt retarded damage, i'm just saying you'll need to watch out since you lose 31 accuracy)

He could just swap to IW hat and finish melding his belt. No reason to drop the awesome pants. That ends up being a gain of stats slightly more than the WD from the DW daggers, which should translate into a minor but noticeable (5-10ish maybe?) dps gain.

Possibly, but I've been trying all day and i've not been able to get near 645, that run is probably a really high crit % as well. (Really close though D: )

should be able to break 650 with dread daggers at least, yeah

on an ok run with 25%~ crit (@560 or so) thats what i was getting in that setting. 10~ effective dex from finishing my gear (ha gloves->dread gloves)

Hmm, IDK, I never burst over 1k, and i'm not doing anything you guys do differently. These must be RNG runs. 60 something DET doesn make or break it when you have 600 crit.

Not sure if you've overread it, but I'd like to have an answer to this as well still.

Is that the optimum Skill Speed I should have as a Ninja? Kinda don't like the thought of losing so much Crit so was wondering if going with that Gear-Set of mine would cause problems with Skill Speed due to it being only 356 compared to your 393.

Compare that to the BiS (i130) set http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/OZE0 That gains 50 crit and 40 skillspeed for essentially 50 det and some uesless accracy, and you'll easily see the difference.

I recommended using flint over catfish to land at 534 acc and also push crit a bit more, not sure if you overread it. Besides this, i guess we have a very different interpretation of a "hilariously bad set" lol ^^

I took another look at the set I posted and realized if you switch IW boots for DW and use either catfish or legs for food (only difference in vit), you basically get what is stated to be the non-crafted BiS in the op:

I did not calculate the dex-value of Odowla's set, so I don't know which one is better.

Regarding skill speed, for me it's just a personal preference thing. It's perfectly fine to have no additional skill speed but for me having ~390 just feels better in terms of how stuff lines up.
