    How to Generate/Create Gil?

So what is the best way to create Gil in the Game? And I'm not talking about selling stuff in the market, that's just trading Gil (and even loosing it since it can be taxed).

The Various Methods i know that Create Gil are:
    Killing monsters
    Selling Items (drops,Gathered,quested,etc) to NPC's
    Challenge Log
Roulettes and other Daily Quests (or Being "in need")
    Levequests & Guildhests
    Fates
    Story quests
    Maps

But which one is the best way to create gill and add it to the world? Large houses are expensive and as i don't ever use the market i want to know how best to farm myself gil.

in a years worth of playing i've only gotten about 5 Million after leveling up all classes and playing an average amount of time. and while it has never been my focus to farm gil, the large house prices are never going to get any cheaper.

(Note: if i sold off all my inventory on the market, I could probably raise all the money i wanted. but this thread is not about the Market, its about creating the gil itself. It's not an achievement to own a large house if you got it from the sweat and tears of others hard work creating gil.)

You have a very odd definition of achievement. I consider it a great achievement to have made hundreds of millions of gil crafting items and selling them on the boards, and buying myself a mansion. I could care less if I created the gil or not. Also I don't see the difference in "work". I "work" by spending my time crafting items, where you "work" by creating gil through the methods you mentioned. Both are considered "work" (in a fun game way) in my opinion.
