Anyone here remeber the "beastmaster and bluemage" in 11 let me ask again anyone remeber "Kimari" in final fantasy 10. right knowing that we fixing merge these two together.
Ill introduce the new lancer job "Beast-Sage"
This job is rather unique offers player's numberious of opinion's aid them better when soloing or fighting in raids. they are support damage dealer hybrid focus's on team support.
Beast-sage weapon of choice is a spear. stats are hybrid between
Mind - cast they do have some healing abilities but not enough to call them a healer, and blue magic damage is based on mnd not intelliegnce
What Mind effects as a beast-sage -
Blue Magic Dmg
Pet Ability Dmg
Effectiness of "Charm"
Effectiness of Lancet
Strenght - this goes without saying
Lancer/beast sage like attacks
physical damage of your pet
30 Abilities - unlike other classes you gain 2 abilities
"Lancet" - Lancet is based on mind to grow in power it drains both hp and mp from the target to you. but not whole lot i expect someone ilvl100 drain up toal 89-109 mp/hp per use . this ability allows beast-sage to learn new spells or teach there pet new abilitie
"Charm" - when using this ability you must have beastmaster only item on you by and any friendly goblin or beastman merchants were you get your beastman quest. there is rules evolved with charming
1: you must have aggro of beast you wish to tame. lose aggro lose the charm.
2: once it is weaken 20% of its life you cast charm once "charmed" you need to /soothe the creature finish the deal
3: pay attention to its <3 meter more it dies more it drops if drops to 0 you loose charm most likely loose your pet. there no reason to fear if beastmaster takes care of there pets. also buy special foods from cooking boost its friendliness too you
two types of magic here you will learn best you do not get them confused.
Beast magic - these are abilities you can train your pet to learn (you learn these by fighting normal monsters so you can teach your pet. there huge number of them and your current pet can only learn selective few even though your pet can learn alot of abilities there not as damaging as let say summoner pets. however they do have abilities raids will love you for
Blue magic - these are spells your character directly use (these you learn by fighting in special fate's that only appear for blue mage's when there crystal is up. simply using lancet on beast you can bring them down hopefully learn new ability). these are strikely offensive as much i would love to see "Bad Breathe" do not expect this class getting this move
lv50 blue magic - this extremely hard to learn. this require take part in fates, normally wouldn't be able handle by yourself. and can only be done with other blue mage's however (so new duty finder would be added for blue mage alone)
lv50 blue magic is fun experence specially those whom enjoy the hunt.
lvl50 mini-game - at level 50 you can train your pet by taken part in mini-game's all this does increases there attributes (max 30 additional points) its no different then you
every 5 levels you gain a quest require you take apart in very special fight's require you use "lancet singlely handed defeat them to learn there abilitys" these most likely be blue mage's signature attacks we all know very well
Beast-sage legacy armor -
wolf like fur, helm's gaunlet's very tribal
lvl35
Twin-Fang (Getsuuga) - Beastsage's pet becomes a copy of the its master then both of you become one drill towards the few yalms infront of you dealing 100 potency you can do this up 3 times before it goes on global cool-down. over all great evasion tool. alowing you instantly pop out of aoe's drilling to one place to next. giving good mobility when using combo's and doesnt break combo's when you use it
also gain a legency pet quest - allow you tame/charm Fernir but have to defeated him once alright in snow cloak
