    Suggestion: NPC Apprentice Companion

So, SE says they're considering giving us a unit of GC agents to take into dungeons instead of players, allowing you to level them up in the process. How about taking it a step further: give us a new companion, a novice adventurer that we can take under our wing. Under our direction they will gain levels in their class, and can be taken into dungeons along with the GC unit (although probably not with other players, at least until the chocobo can).

I've just been wondering when we'll see another companion, and the announcement of having soldiers under your command made me think of this.

I had to look that up. Thanks for reminder #36 that I'm an utter noob compared to you Legacy lot.

    My point stands, though.

Even FFXI had actual character companions, I miss creating darkness with Impulse drive > Cross Reaper and Magic bursting them with Drain 2..

I am bored of Mr stupid Chocobo so something different would be a welcome change. Or atleast make them stop spamming medica (at half the potency) instead of cure when you are going to die.

On the subject of having your own unit of characters to raid dungeons with, I sure hope I get to have them stand around my personal house as it is too big to be empty.
