Suggestion: invite NPCs to Wedding

It does sort of make very little sense that none of the scions would show up to something supposedly as important as the warrior of light's "eternal bond"--you saved basically all of their lives (not to mention all of Eorzea) and they can't even be bothered to show up to your wedding? See if I bail you out from the next primal, you lazy asses! The city-state leaders make more sense, given they are presumably busy running their cities, although Kan-E-Senna should be able to be there, since the church is in the Shroud.

I also agree that it would be fun to have them at least in the background of the cutscene or something...

Also reminds me how frustrating it is SE doesn't ask us what we want before implementing things...

We're always grasping after the fact instead of them just coming out & asking, "hey, we're implementing marriages, what sorts of things would you like to see? What would you like at your ceremony? In terms of reception? Etc."

Well, in this case, they did come out with the announcement well in advance that they were planning it. It's not their fault that the only part most players chose to discuss at that point was about whether same-sex couples would be included. I rather wish more topics like this one had come out back then when they would have had a better chance of being implemented.

And to the people who said SE should have asked us first, SE is in now way obliged to solicit the playerbase for suggestions with every change they make. You don't (necessarily) have stock in their company. You aren't a member of the design team, or even the localization team. Thinking that they should cater to the whims of the vocal minority on the forums is really just more entitlement.

Personally, I'm disappointed you can't have at least Merlwyb officiate, if not the other faction leaders. And the scions ought to be there, too, so you could have a scene like:

"Does anyone have a reason why these two players should not be eternally bonded? Speak now, or forever hold your peace."
