The most populated servers for NA.

Hello everyone, my friend and I played the free trial of FFRR and enjoyed the game immensely. Now we have decided to get the game we would like to know what server or servers would be the most populated for NA.

And if anyone can give us newbies some help or tips of the trade along the way would not go unappreciated.

    Thank you for your time

This site will give some insight to server population, though its not entirely accurate: http://xivsoul.com/

The numbers don't always mean its a busy server, or indicate at what times of day it is busy. But I think for most NA servers it will be evenings or weekends.

I'm in Malboro, while not a heavy populated server it does have quite a few people in it, though its a ghost town during the day here on the east coast US, evenings it has alot of people playing.

Welcome Arkra! (and hello to your friend as well )

To answer your second question, I notice you're already level 14 so you should already have at least a little grasp of the game, as the early parts of the game are designed specifically as a tutorial to help guide the player into things. However, some general pointers to help you and your friend:

Remember to keep up to date with the quests given to you by your class's 'Guild' (in your case, the PGL Guild in Ul'daH) - every five levels they will have a new quest available which rewards you with items, new equipment, and, for the level 15 and 30 quests, unique abilities. Also the quest at level 10 for your first class unlocks the Armoury System which allows you to change classes to any you wish (once you've unlocked that class) so that's another good reason to do you class quests.

Also remember to keep up to date in the main story quests (these are marked with a meteor icon similar to the flaming 'o' in the word 'reborn' in the game's title) - besides the obvious aspect of sucking you into the story of Eorzea and it's people, certain story quests also unlock new content, such as the level 10 story quest unlocks levequests and the Inn. So undertaking the main story is highly recommended.

There's a lot more I could tell you, but I think you'd find it very dull - either way, if you have any questions or need assistance, please don't hesitate to ask! If I can't help you, I am certain there will be someone here on the forum who will be able to.

Is there anyone out there in a decently populated server (Doesnt go dead) that could accept my friend and i into their company? Helping us out to learn the game and speed up our progress to end game content?
