Is it just me or have gold sellers been picking up fast lately?

I'm getting so many whispers now from gold sellers it's starting to become annoying. Is it getting worse for other people too? I heard a conspiracy that the DDOS of the servers were from angry gold sellers not liking their accounts being banned.

But, like all conspiracies, I have no proof and don't know how much I believe it.

They're probably getting desperate since the tradable bracelets are eating into some of their business.

Probably, since it costs millions of gil to be able to continue your relic quest (unless you're a 3-star crafter in every crafting class).

I've been getting /tells where the RMTs are somehow pushing the chat with empty characters to make the message more visible. It's goddamn annoying.

Elder Scrolls Online has an addon which automatically blocks RMT messages which use certain characters and words. We need that so damn bad. Square-Enix needs to implement those addons asap if they won't do anything about it.

They are using macros to add spacing, you can copy/paste into it.
This has more to do with them trying to offload their stockpiles before the next ban hammer, as they probably have oarger warchests than normal after the expected update price inflations.

Yea it started to pick back up when personal housing started and now is accelerating.. Really, really annoying, my blacklist filled up for the first time.
SE needs to expand the black list I think.

Lol, yeah they tried it in XI. they came up with really convoluted spam where they broke up the website name with numbers or special characters and had a little 'key' like 1=b, @=r, %=o at the end.

God that was annoying.

IMO the best way would just be to target characters who send x number of tells per second.
