I am fine if they do, to me it is better that way, I dont care for the "everyone can do everything" type, one of the reasons I like FFXI was the way they limited crafting, and how they did the Job/sub

even if they do make the change the same people that level multiple crafts on one character are going to do one of 3 things.

    1. quit and leave you do deal with it yourself.

    2. pay for extra mules so each one of them will be its own class.

    3. only do one class to max and suffer on the other. this will cause the costs on those items to increase.

Nothing is stopping everyone from doing everything in FFXI ,except having a create another character. Being required to make a whole other character to lvl another craft is simply a speedbump and a way to get more money out of people. The only thing that hinders everyone from doing everything is a higher monthly fee and annoyance of delivery systems.
